Spend Your Summer in Palestine: If you are an Arabic language student, someone who has a hunger for travel, or someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution abroad during their summer, then we at the Excellence Center in Palestine have programs to offer you. And, if you fall into all three categories, then we can accommodate you to study Arabic, explore Palestine, and volunteer during your summer stay with us.
At the Excellence Center, our programs range from intensive Arabic lessons to volunteer teaching and writing programs. We also welcome individuals who are looking for internship opportunities abroad. You will find an exhaustive list of our volunteer, intern, and Arabic study programs on our website.
In the summer, we also offer programs for individuals who simply wish to visit the Excellence Center and not participate in a specific program. With many options and opportunities available, our hope is that you will be able to find a program that aligns with your interests and goals for this summer.
All of the programs in Palestine have flexible start and end dates
All of the programs offered at the Excellence Center have flexible start and end dates, so individuals can begin and end their time whenever it best suits them. By spending a summer in Palestine, you will have opportunities to see an up-close view of Palestinian daily life and culture. Our international students who come to strictly study Arabic receive 3 hours of Arabic lessons a day.
Our volunteer English teachers teach a number of courses each week and are provided with 3 hours of Arabic lessons each week. Female internationals also have the cultural experience of staying with a Palestinian host family during their time in Hebron. If this summer you hope to gain language skills and cultural knowledge while traveling to one of the most well-known places in the world, then we encourage you to look into the programs offered at the Excellence Center.
trips to the Mediterranean Sea as well as the Dead Sea
There are many perks to traveling to Palestine in the summer. Though the heat and dry weather is a deterrent for some, trips to the Mediterranean Sea as well as the Dead Sea will cool you off on those hot, summer days. When participating in an Excellence Center program, you will also have free time to travel on your own throughout the West Bank and Israel.
Visiting Palestinian cities
You are welcome to visit places such as Jericho, Ramallah, Nablus, Bethlehem, and so much more. At the Excellence Center, we organize weekly trips to different places in Hebron and around Hebron too. There are many possibilities as to what to do in your free time in Palestine. Those who have a knack for travel and exploration will be satisfied with the sights to see and places to visit in and around Palestine.
