We at the Excellence Center in Palestine and in Germany are very proud to announce that we have been selected for the Go Overseas Community Award once again! Out of the 13,000 organizations hosted on GoOverseas.com, we received the following awards:
1. Awards for 2022
We continue to strive towards “excellence”: In 2022 we were rated one of the top three programs worldwide in offering volunteer opportunities and one of the top three language schools worldwide by Go Overseas. We received a total of five Go Overseas Community Choice Awards in 2022.
The Excellence Center was also recognized as one of the top Teach Abroad Providers for the category of “benefits” and one of the Top Internship Abroad Providers for the categories of “growth” and “support”.

What is Go Overseas? Go Overseas is a community reviews site that allows readers to explore and discover international, culturally immersive programs, trips and jobs. It enables them to make an informed decision about their volunteering choices.
There are currently over 17,500 programs hosted by the Go Overseas site and it is a great honour and achievement for The Excellence Center to be recognized as one of the top 3 Volunteer Abroad providers.
Why did Go Overseas choose to award the Excellence Center?
There are companies everywhere working hard to improve and change the world for the better. Many of these companies allow volunteers to join them from abroad on their mission and this becomes a powerful opportunity to literally change the world. It can be also difficult for volunteers to know which providers offer the best experience, across all the important areas that affect the volunteer experience. This can make it difficult to choose a suitable volunteering program. Go Overseas has a team of reviewers who rate each program across selected categories and awards are presented based on the overall scoring of a program within all the relevant categories and criteria.
The Excellence Center in Palestine had top scores across all of the categories that the reviewers were asked to rate, making it one of the top volunteer abroad providers from 2021.
2. Top Language Schools of 2021 for Instruction and Fun: Due to our inclusive and open environment inside and outside the classroom, our volunteers have named us as one of the most enjoyable and fun schools to learn Arabic! We are also highly regarded for the quality of the instruction received by learners at the Excellence Center.
How did the Excellence Center obtain this award?
Go Overseas believes that learning a language abroad should be a fun experience and they ask every reviewer to tell them how much fun they had overseas, for almost every program they rate on their site. Reviewers are asked to rate the social scene of the language school they attended.
The quality of the instruction is also of utmost importance. We know that language learning is a complex process and that it is different for every language learner. Some students want to gain fluency, whereas others are looking for enough to get by on their next trip. Therefore language schools need to meet a variety of student needs and it can be difficult to do a great job for everyone.
The Excellence Center achieved consistently high scores from program reviewers, which shows that it met the needs of its students, volunteers and visitors, offering an exceptional experience.
The Excellence Center was consistently highly rated for fun and instruction, making it into the top 3 providers in both of these categories.
We at the Excellence Center strongly agree that learning a new language ought to be a fun, social and immersive experience. It is also important to us that we deliver a high standard of instruction to all our students. We always strive to meet the needs of our learners. We are delighted and honoured to have our efforts recognized and to receive awards in both the fun and instruction category.
