A highly anticipated football match kicked off at 6.30 on Monday evening, between the staff and volunteers of the Excellence Centre and their Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) counterparts. The line-up included Mark (31, Spain), Morten (25, Denmark), Alexandre (21, Denmark), Osama and Mutaz the Excellence Centre’s Coordinators. Both organisations host international volunteers and decided to hold this match as a way to grow their already close relationship.
The game saw 5 participants from each side face off against each other in a test of physical strength, skill, and stamina. A very entertaining and funny game of football unfolded with the eventual winners of the competitive but amicable match being the TIPH with 7 goals in favour, and 5 scored by the Excellence Centre.
Although the TIPH team will likely hold their victory over the heads of the Excellence Centre staff for a long time, both sides agree that it was an enjoyable way to spend time with each other. Both sides were cheered on from the sidelines by their colleagues, in yet another successful outdoor activity organised by the Excellence Centre.
