Once You Arrive to Volunteer in Hebron, Palestine

Volunteers are welcomed to the Center before setting up a schedule. As a volunteer, you will participate in an orientation that includes Arabic classes, information about the city of Hebron, and an introduction to Palestinian culture.

To help you fully immerse yourself in the Palestinian community and culture, the Center arranges accommodation with a local Palestinian host family. They will support you in your adjustment and assist with any challenges you may encounter. Male volunteers may instead stay at the Center’s shared, lovely apartment, which is just a 5-minute walk from the Center.

After the orientation, you will decide what activities to develop and present to your students. These will be based on your individual knowledge and topics of interest, your field of specialty, and your level of experience and skills in Community Development.
