“My name is Lauren Souza. In my home country of the USA, I am a part time student at the University of Minnesota, studying human rights in the middle east. I was interested in participating in the Assistant English Teacher TESA internship because of a deeply rooted passion to experience the country’s unique culture, language, and hospitality. I am also greatly pleased with the opportunity to share my own language with others. I hope to learn a lot from the people I encounter, and create memories that I can take with me on my future adventures.”

These programs focus on important topics like human rights, women’s rights, Palestinian refugees, Palestinian culture and politics, Palestinian laws, and how things are going in Palestine and Israel right now.
These programs are perfect for students and anyone who wants to volunteer or intern in the summer. They’re located in the West Bank, Palestine, Israel, or the Middle East.

Online Arabic Programs
The Excellence Center offers a range of online Arabic programs covering Levantine dialects (Ammiyya Arabic) from Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Modern Standard Arabic.
Join our Intensive Online Arabic courses, which provide 20 hours of instruction per week. With this format, students can quickly acquire Arabic skills and complete a full 80-hour course in just four weeks.
