The Excellence Center Palestine 🇵🇸 (مَرْكَزُ اَلتَّمَيُّزِ or Markaz Al Tamayoz) was established by dedicated local community members to foster connections between Palestine and the global community. The Center is located in the vibrant city of Hebron, West Bank. You can find it on Ein Sarah Street (Street 420), directly across from the Al Hussein Mosque in Building No. 7.
We offer educational, cultural, social, and community programs to various international students, interns, and volunteers. With a wide variety of topics, the Excellence Center has something for everyone interested in learning about and experiencing life in Palestine.
Since we began in 2011, the Excellence Center has provided a rich and immersive learning experience for over 1000 international visitors, greatly benefiting the local community, including children, Palestinian refugees, youth, and women.

We Host International Volunteers, Students, Interns, And Visitors
The Excellence Center hosts international volunteers, interns, students, and visitors of all ages (18+)—from gap year students to retirees—who are interested in Palestine. We offer a wide range of programs, year-round, which can last from 1 week up to 3 months.
Our visitors have come from the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden, among others.
Awards And Recognition
We strive towards excellence in everything we do. In 2022, we were rated one of the top three programs worldwide in offering volunteer opportunities and one of the top three language schools worldwide by Go Overseas. We received a total of five Go Overseas Community Choice Awards in 2022. The Excellence Center was also recognized as one of the top Teach Abroad Providers for the category of “Benefits” and one of the Top Internship Abroad Providers for the categories of “Growth” and “Support”.
In 2021, we were also rated one of the top three programs worldwide in offering volunteer opportunities. We received the community choice awards by Go Overseas in the categories “Best Language School”, and voted best in the categories of “Fun” and “Instruction.” We have a 97% approval rating from 848 alumni reviews on Go Overseas.

The Excellence Center in Palestine offers a range of Arabic courses, including super-intensive, intensive, and non-intensive options. We teach various dialects, such as Levantine, Palestinian colloquial, and Modern Standard Arabic. Participants are welcome year-round, and we also provide summer intensives, a winter program, individual courses, and online lessons.
