“The daily life of volunteers in the West Bank, Palestine is usually very entertaining. In Hebron, West Bank, Palestine it is very easy to meet local people with whom to maintain a friendship, they are all very hospitable and want you to feel at home. Like the people of the Excellence center. Therefore, free time is very pleasant, since you can share it with your local friends and also with the other volunteers. 

The truth is that daily life in Hebron, West Bank for the volunteers is very pleasant. In the mornings, each one of us carries out our activities: teaching, doing workshops. learning Arabic or making interviews. After that, we all met to go to eat delicious falafel and go to a cafe with our friends or walk around the old city. Some nights, we are even going to play the PlayStation in one of the PlayStation coffees in the city.

The activities of the center usually end at mid-afternoon, around 4 pm, so you have part of the day to do what you like most. Mònica from Spain spends part of her time reading and writing in one of the many cafes in the area, and every night she spends time with her friends drinking tea and smoking shisha. Luca from Germany, enjoy going to a cafe located in the old city, where there is a beautiful garden, to enjoy the sun and the tranquility.

Otherwise, something that all the volunteers really love, is the hiking that all of us do on Friday. Every week, the center organizes to us a good trip to enjoy the natural spaces that Palestine has. Most of them are near Jericho, where you can enjoy the desert and the great views of the Dead Sea. These hicks are useful to meet local people and share time with them, at the same time that you can a closer relationship with your colleagues from the Excellence Center.
