The Excellence Center (EC) organizes site visits to various districts in and around Hebron. These visits may include historical and archaeological areas such as the Ibrahimi Mosque, the Hebron Old City, and Herodium, to name a few.
Additionally, EC may arrange visits to refugee camps where people continue to suffer inequitable circumstances. Sites near Hebron may include Al-Fawar Camp south of Hebron and Al-Aroop Camp to the north. Visits may also take place away from Hebron including Jenin Camp in Jenin City and Askar Camp in Nablus.
During these visits, interns and volunteers come face to face with the men, women and children who call these camps home. International interns and volunteers have the opportunity to interact with camp families, and to hear about their lives and experiences living in the camps.
Additionally, the Excellence Center provides internationals with opportunities to explore local industries including factories and businesses such as the Royal Company, and Al- Jebrini Company – organizations that for the bedrock of the city economy.
