Jerusalem

Jerusalem is perhaps the most iconic place to visit when taking a trip to Palestine. In Jerusalem, travelers can wander through the stone alleyways of the Old City, purchase gifts from the many shops, overlooking the city from the Mount of Olives, and visit the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Dome of the Rock, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. In addition to these famous sites, Jerusalem offers many streets to stroll done, markets to explore, and plenty of crooks and crevices to discover.

When coming to West Bank, Palestine in the summer, travelers cannot miss the opportunity to visit Jerusalem. Whether it is for a day or multiple days, summers in Jerusalem are brimful of excitement and beauty.

Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho, Nablus, and the Dead Sea

Other places in the West Bank to travel to in summer include Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho, Nablus, and the Dead Sea. Bethlehem is a quaint city where travelers can walk through the Old City, see the separation wall, and go inside the Church of the Nativity. Ramallah is a place unlike any other in Palestine. With its cosmopolitan atmosphere, nightclubs, and countless restaurants, being in Ramallah feels like no other city in the West Bank.

When it comes to visiting Jericho, we recommend for you to combine your trip with a trip to the Dead Sea. Jericho can get awfully hot during the summer months, so cooling off in the Dead Sea will be a must. Finally, should you wish to visit Nablus, be sure to try the kanafah. After all, the famous Palestinian sweet known as kanafah originated from Nablus.

Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and Haifa

Stepping outside of the West Bank provides travelers with the chance to visit coastal cities such as Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and Haifa. Additionally, many travelers coming to Israel and Palestine make an effort to visit historically and religiously significant places such as Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.
