Practical information about getting to Hebron.

The Excellence Center is located in the heart of Hebron on Ein Sarah Street. It is easily accessible from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. You can take the Shuttle Bus 485 from Ben Gurion Airport (in Tel Aviv Israel) to Jerusalem. From there, there are two ways to get to Hebron and the Excellence Center, you can either take an Israeli bus (# 381) from Jerusalem Central Bus Station and get off at Bet Romano station and walk through the Checkpoint to the Palestinian side of Hebron.

You can also take a sherut (a shared taxi) from Damascus Gate directly to the old city center of Hebron. Both ways are easy and very affordable (15 shekel for the bus and up to 30 for the sherut).

Levels and Duration

Arabic Students with previous knowledge of Arabic are expected to take a placement test after their application to assessing their level of Levantine Arabic.

Students with no knowledge of Arabic will take a starter Arabic course.  The Levantine Arabic Intensive Course in Palestine mainly concentrates on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills

How to fly to Palestine? 

The easiest way to get to the Excellence Center in Hebron, Palestine is to fly to Ben Gurion in Tel Aviv Airport (Israel). It takes about two and a half hours from the airport to the Excellence Center in Hebron via shared Taxi.

You can also fly to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan and then cross to Palestine, but it takes more time and is more expensive.

Visa to Palestine

Upon your arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, Israel, you will be granted a tourist visa valid for 90 days. There is no need to obtain a visa ahead of time.
