Volunteer in Local Schools in Palestine
Our “Volunteer in Local Schools in Palestine” program is a great opportunity for anyone who has a strong commitment, knowledge, or enthusiasm in teaching in local Hebronite schools, and in sharing their knowledge on study abroad and on their own country’s educational system. In this program, we would like to bridge the gap between the schoolchildren in Hebron and the international volunteers who come to the center, in order to allow them to become familiar with foreigners while also allowing you to experience the Palestinian school system and its students.
Brief information on the project
This new set of classes will have its headquarters at Excellence Center’s facilities in Hebron, Palestine. In this program, you will develop lessons, activities, and field trips in order to educate school children about study abroad, the English language, and the culture of your country. This will be an invaluable experience that will teach you about pedagogy in a different culture, about how the school system works in Palestine, and about the positive and negative aspects of this school system. You will gain valuable information that you can be used in your research and studies, in addition to the connections you will make with Palestinian school children during your time here in Hebron.
